What happens if I am getting married in the next few months and don’t have a dress yet?

We are currently having a sale on floor sample dresses! Which means you can come and try on the dresses and take it home the same day. Weddings cost an arm and a leg these days, so why not save money by buying the floor sample. Get in quick, while stock lasts.

Will my dress arrive in time?

Our suppliers are working around the clock to ensure your dress arrives on time, as of right now everything is on schedule. Should government regulations get stricter there may be a slight delay, however it shouldn’t be more than a week or two.

Can you ship my dress to me?

Yes we can, if you need us to ship to you tell us when we call you and let you know your dress is in store. Shipping fees apply.

What happens if I have to postpone my wedding date? Can leave my dress with you so I can collect it closer to the date?

A good option would be to get an estimate from your alterations people so you can evaluate a reasonable amount of time to leave your dress with us. We are more than happy to hold on to it for a little longer than usual, alterations will usually take about a month sometimes more depending on how much you need done; so you don’t want to leave it too late.

Why do I need an appointment to try on gowns? What if I just want to browse?

As of right now we are not accepting walk ins, due to Covid-19 we need to make sure the safety of our brides, guests and staff is ensured; we do this by only allowing a certain number of people in the store at one time. We have all of our dresses photographed and uploaded on our website and social media pages for you to browse until you can make an appointment.

How long will my appointment be?

Our appointments are usually half an hour to an hour.

Who can I bring to my appointment?

At the moment we are only allowing one guest, so make sure it is someone who’s opinion you value. We also invite you to video call friends or family who couldn’t come.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

Bring pictures of the dresses you would like to try, as well as dresses you have seen on Pinterest and Instagram.

How can I prepare for the appointment?

Come with nude underwear and a strapless bra, if you want to wear shape wear for the day we suggest wearing it to your consultation as well. Most importantly, have an open mind, or highly trained consultants are there to help you find the perfect dress for you; and sometimes you fall in love with something completely different to what you had in mind.

What size gowns do you have available to try on?

The sizes range from 6-26, it varies depending on the style. Some dresses we only have available to try in one size however we have new styles from size 12-18 in store.

When should I order my veil and or headpiece?

You can choose your veil and or headpiece on the day you pick up your dress.

Can I complete my entire look in one consultation?

Definitely! Once you have chosen your grown, our expert consultants will assist you in choosing your veil, shoes and even jewellery.

How far in advance to I need to buy my gown? For new orders we suggest 10 months to a year, so you have time to get all your alterations done with time to spare. For sample size gowns you could purchase your gown as near as 2 months before the wedding, though alterations may take a month or more so plan accordingly.

When should I expect my order to arrive in store?

Once the order is placed, you can expect your gown to arrive in around 6 to 8 months. If there is minimal work to be done on the dress (i.e. sequins, crystals, embroidery, etc.) then the dress will come sooner, the more detailing on the dress the longer it will take, which is why we recommend ordering 10 months to a year before your wedding.

What is a special order gown?

We take your measurements and choose the closest fit from the designer and place the order to the closest size. Special order gowns allow you to choose the colour of your dress also, if you love the dress but not the colour we can order the gown in a different colour.

How do I pay for my gown? We accept bank transfer, MasterCard, visa and cash. If you order special order gown we require 50% deposit when you order your gown. You can pay the other 50% when you come to pick up the dress. If you purchase a gown from the sample stock, we require upfront payment.

What are the price ranges for your gowns?

Our gowns range from $1000 to $8000, the price of the dress is dependant on the amount of detail, length, size, etc. Off the rack gowns can cost much less than a new order, if you’re looking to save money.

What is a rush order?

If your wedding date is sooner that our recommended time, we can place your dress on a “rush-order” for an additional fee. This means that your gown will come sooner than the usual 6 to 8 months.

What if I’m not happy with my consultant?

If you are dissatisfied with your consultant for any reason please ask to speak to a manager immediately and we will make arrangements for you to be seen by someone else. Our priority is making you as comfortable and happy as possible.
