Priscilla & Daniel

We met over 5 years ago. Our meeting was like something out of a movie. I was out with some friends at a bar for a birthday, and Daniel went out with his mate to kill time before picking up his sister from a party too. As daniel and his friend were leaving the bar, his friend recognised me as an old school friend and we started chatting and reminiscing about old times. He introduced me to Daniel and started chatting about our recent European adventures (when we could still travel overseas!) It turns out we went to almost all the same places, and was even in the same town on the same day! As we all started leaving the bar, Daniel asked for my number and the rest is history I guess.

We had been together for a few years at this point. We both knew we were right for each other, we shared the same values in life as well as respected each other so much (huge thing for me!)

There are little acts of love that show you its the right kind of love. I knew Daniel was my love when he would do small acts like make food for me without being asked, or buy me chocolate or a gift if he could see I was upset at work (even something small to put a smile on my face).

I also felt so comfortable and apart of the family I would visit his parents and grandparents to help them without Daniel around. It just felt like my own family.

Daniel proposed to me at my favourite place, Lavendula farm. We had just purchased our first house together and had agreed to not buy each other Christmas gifts that year. Instead we spent the day together and got lunch. After we walked into the gardens, daniel had "forgotten" his wallet in the car, so he ran back to grab it.

He returned shortly with a present box that had 2 smaller boxes inside. I was lecturing Daniel by this point telling him off for the gift...but continued to open them. Each one with a small gift (bracelet, event tickets) and the final box had a ring box but no ring...just a note saying will you marry me. When I looked up, Daniel was holding the ring and was on one knee waiting for my response. It was lovely!

What an experience buying my wedding dress was! I originally had a wedding dress made for me after not being able to find what I wanted in stores. As covid hit, we changed our wedding date 4 times since booking everything in. During that 2 year period, I grew less fond of my dress and didn't feel it encapsulated me and my essence.

2 weeks out from the wedding, my dress no longer fitted me and I broke down as it just want who I was anymore.
That night I booked into Bella e la bestiary Bridal as they had dresses that caught my eye (and were open on a Sunday!)

On the drive over to the store,I saw a dress on their instagram page that looked like what I exactly wanted 2 years prior. After walking into the store and receiving fantastic service,I tried my dress on and bought it all within 10 minutes! It was heaven sent the staff were gorgeous and so helpful to make the dress work for me so that I could take it home in time for our wedding.

Best memory of the day apart from marrying my best friend would have to be getting to go and eat gelato! As part of our photos we went to Augustus Gelatery in Eltham and it was so much fun to relax and grab an icecream on what turned out to be a very warm day.

I would most definitely recommend Bella e La Bestia Bridal to anyone! I already rave about the experience I had finding My dress with them and what amazing service they provided.
